SAA and ASA certification
Thorair is the only company in Australia retailing a complete range of SAA and ASA certified dehumidifiers, air blowers and air scrubbers. Certification means the equipment has been tested to Australian electrical safety standards, so it is accepted on insured restoration jobs, construction sites and commercial premises without argument. It also means fewer breakdowns: the standards cover insulation, earthing, thermal protection and cord quality, all of which matter when a machine runs for days in a wet room.
Lightweight, stackable equipment
We design for the van as much as for the job. Dehumidifiers start at 32 kg, the Pro air scrubber weighs 17.5 kg, and blowers stack five high. Retractable handles and semi-pneumatic tyres mean one technician can move a 90L dehumidifier up steps. Fit more drying power in the truck, make fewer trips.
Same-day freight, Australia-wide
Orders placed before 2pm AEST leave our Currumbin Waters warehouse the same business day. Orders after 2pm ship the next business day. We use express freight to every capital and road freight to regional addresses, and during flood events we hold stock for emergency response.
Two-year replacement warranty
Every Thorair dehumidifier, blower and air scrubber carries a 365-day full replacement warranty for manufacturer defects, plus an extended second year covering replacement parts. If a machine fails in the first year, we replace it. That is the most comprehensive warranty in the Australian restoration equipment industry, and it is only possible because the equipment rarely comes back.
